This May, the women of MAMAPALOOZA are taking to stages, poetry jams and concert halls, forging new ways of thinking, being, celebrating and defining what it is to be an artist and mother in the 21st Century.

Cheryl Boyce Taylor is the author of three collections of poetry, Night When Moon Follows, Raw Air, and Convincing the Body.  She is best known for her dialectic poems and strong political voice.

Simply Not Done:  Laure-Anne Bosselaar, renowned poet, says of New England’s Simply Not Done, "Mix three parts fiction, one part non-fiction, one part poetry, add a drop of vermouth, and you've got one hell of a martini."

The Blues Mothers:  Four moms who stay ahead of the chaos by joining together in a jazzy and blues mix meant to sustain and inspire.

Golda Solomon:  "Poet Solomon...Think of it as Jack Kerouac revisiting the Mile High City and grabbing a sandwich at the New York Deli while in town."     -- Norman Provizer, Rocky Mountain News

PO’JAZZ at CORNELIA STREET is one big friendly party of good words, good sounds, and good food.”
-- Gladys Serrano, Mutable Music
